Garam Masala
Ingredients
- 8 Whole Sticks of Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp Black Peppercorns
- 20 Pods Green Cardamom
- 5 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Nutmeg
- 6 Pieces Mace Blades
- 10 Bay Leaves
- 1 Cup Cumin Seeds
- 8 or 9 Star Anise
- 20 Cloves
- 1/2 Cup Fennel Seeds
Instructions
- Roast all the above mentioned ingredients in a heavy bottom pan on medium flame until you get a good aroma
- Transfer all the ingredients to a grinder and crush to a fine powder
- Store in an air tight jar.
