Masala Tea

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Milk
- 2 Tsp Tea Leaves
- 2 Black peppercorns
- 1 Clove
- 1 Green cardamom
- 1" Ceylon Cinnamon Stick
- 1/8th Tsp Nutmeg Powder
- 1/2" Piece of Ginger
- 2 – 3 Tsp Sugar
Instructions
- Crush the cardamom, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg
- Boil water in a saucepan and add these crushed ingredients
- When it starts to boil add the tea leaves, ginger and the peppercorns
- Boil until the spices release their flavour and the colour changes
- Add milk and simmer for around 2 to 3 minutes
- Now add sugar and stir well
- Finally strain the tea to a tea cup.
