Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Tsp Tea Leaves
  • 2 Black peppercorns
  • 1 Clove
  • 1 Green cardamom
  • 1" Ceylon Cinnamon Stick
  • 1/8th Tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • 1/2" Piece of Ginger
  • 2 - 3 Tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Crush the cardamom, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg
  • Boil water in a saucepan and add these crushed ingredients
  • When it starts to boil add the tea leaves, ginger and the peppercorns
  • Boil until the spices release their flavour and the colour changes
  • Add milk and simmer for around 2 to 3 minutes
  • Now add sugar and stir well
  • Finally strain the tea to a tea cup.
